any one got any ideas on which heim joints are the beat for tie rod ends on an aftermarket front suspension ?? --w/o paying something stupid for them ??
need to replace a couple ------------thanks , bob
 
You didn't mention whether it's a street car, race car, or combination of both. In my opinion, cheap heim joints are NOT the way to go on front suspension. Pay the money for good ones & be done with it, just be sure to inspect them regularly to make sure they are not wearing excessively.
 
Aurora rod ends are about the best you can buy. FK and QA1 are also good.

Stay away from aluminum.

Went with the highest pull load rating I could find 16,000 and something / ptfe impregnated . Most others were 12,000ish.
