My question is has anyone installed a newer rear brake backing plate and drums on there car im having a hard time finding the drums for my car here in Canada please help ty

I know this may sound extreme but if you can't find the parts, it may be easier to swap a whole rear end in from a later vehicle where parts are available.

Rear right, reproduction, 10" drum, for 2" brake shoes. Not cheap $425. Left and right not interchangable? Maybe only diff is stud thread? Same for many years ('36 to '54).
