Hi y'all, just wanted to take a second and introduce myself, and the rusted hulk known as "The Schlockrod". A 20-year-old from Mass, the Mopar bug bit early in the form of my great-uncle and his 74' Hemi 'Cuda. That bug was perpetuated by my father's '68 Charger, and spurred my purchase of a New England '65 Cuda basket case.
It's two-tone Purple and primer, one good bump away from being flintstones-powered, and i'm not sure it can be saved by my time/skill/$ combination. But, the 273 engine has "only 1,500 on a rebuild" (looking like it was done before i was born) and spins freely.
The intent is to spend a lot of time researching here on FABO, making an informed decision, and attempting to either patch the body, or part the good bits to owners of cars without see-through floors, while i build the engine and find a new home for it :twisted:
Yes, the rear glass is in good shape :wink:
