Hello folks. I cant believe I have had my Duster for a year now, & didnt even know this place existed. I feel dumb now.

I am currently starting resto on my 70' Duster that I purchased from a friend at work. It was originally a 70' 318/904 car

Its now sporting a worked 72' 360 .40 over with 71 340 "J" heads ported & polished (believe it or not) 273 commando rockers as well as alot of other stuff. Tranny is a 727TF with a 3400 stall & manual reverse valve body.

The guy I got it off of lived in Bristol TN. about 10min. from thunder valley. He built the car as a weekend warrior, & thats all it really is. Im currently in the process of turning it Pro street, with streetability in mind. Im looking forward to getting help along the way!

welcome. sounds like a real brawler you got there. i used to own a 70 duster as well. it was only a /6, but had hd 340 suspension, buckets, console, a/c, p/s from the factory. it went with other cars to other homes that had more time than i did.

hope to hear more of the project as it unfolds.
