I'm new here and am just looking for some info and guidance on a rare gas cap I acquired. From what I've been told it's for a 1970 Plymouth Duster in Plum Crazy Purple...And is Super Clean. I'll post in the appropriate forum. Thanks for reading!

Nothing. Everybody thinks rare means valuable and desirable, when all three of those words have distinctly different meanings.

Hey, I have a rare gas cap. It's the only orange one that's ever been painted in my garage. I guess that only checks one of those boxes though

He put it on ebay and misrepresented it as a painted original, even though we advised him they were never painted from the factory.
