Help and info needed on different door glass set ups from 73 to 76 for a duster

I have a 76 duster and I bought the power window kit from electric life for 73-76 duster and dart. When installing I noticed my original regulator and window slide was completely different than in the instructions. After searching the Internet I found a few vague pictures that confirmed that they must have change from 73 to 76. I know to make this work I now need the glass channel and rails from a 73 but will my original glass still be usable? And what other year models have the same parts as a 73? Thanks

73 darts are a 1 year only glass and channels. Don't know about Dusters.

These are universal items so you have to adapt them to your needs

The ones I bought are direct replacement and it bolts right using all the prexisting holes.

This is a pic of a 73 door I found. Will the rail off of a 73 style glass bolt onto the 74-76 style.

Just saw ur post. What kind of setup dose pre 73 use in the darts, dusters, and demons?

not sure but we tried putting the new glass in the 73 door and the holes in the glass did not correspond
