So, looking at getting wheels and tires for the Duster with my tax refund...

Currently equipped:

Stock steelies, 14x?

Front: 185/75
Rear: 225/70 (preferred) and 215/75 (old)

I would really like to go with a set of slot mags (Ansen Sprint), but the 14's seem to be few and far between...

My first question would be, would 14x7 fit for the front with disc brakes and 14x8 for the back? If so, would my current tire choice be sufficient for these wheel sizes? If not, suggestions?

If I went ahead and got 15x6-or-7 and 15x8 for front/back respectively, what would be a good tire size to keep the general tire/wheel size the same? Also, looking for more common tire sizes; don't want to spend a grand just on rubber for it yet...

I am not afraid to go wider in the rear and slimmer up front (don't want some 4" fronts just yet, though), but don't really want to start screwing with the suspension just to fit some big fat slicks in the back.... She's not -that- fast.... yet... ;)

Thanks,
- CK

I have the old E-T 5 slot rims on my duster 14x6 up front and 14x7.5 in the back. tires are BFG 225 60 14 front and 245 60 14 in the rear. I like the way they look on the car
