Help!!! Brake pedal push rod........

Would anyone know if push rod length is different between automatic car brake pedal push rod or 4speed brake pedal push rod ? The piston in my master cyl is bent. This car was originaly auto,but converted to 4speed before I bought the car. Push rod too long causing master cyl piston to bend ???

Sorry, they are the same length.

How could the piston in the M/C get bent? Impossible.If the piston got bent the casting would have to have broken too.

OK. It is not bent much,just a slight amount,maybe 1/8". I think maybe the mc was rebuilt by the previous owner and possibly bent this during installation. (Although I don't know how.) No problem as I'm putting a new mc on. Just wanted to be sure rods were the same length so this would not happen again. Thanks for the info guys. Muchly appreciated.
