Help?? Caliper Location on 74 dart swinger?

I am doing a brake rebuild on my dart and was wondering about caliper loation. Are there advantages to locating them behind the rotor? Or should you always staty in front?

Only thing it may do is help with weight distribution but not much at all. I am going to put mine on the back next time I have them off.

They can be mounted either way, but if you do change the mounting, you may need different length brake hoses.

There is no real advantage either way. Those of us with pre 73's usually have to mount them in the rear to clear the factory sway bars. FYI to change location you will have to swap the spindles side to side because the mounting holes are in the spindles. A lot of work for no real gain.
