Can someone please tell me what these bolts are for and also how many are a complete set?

Just by chance, you didn't have these bolts left over after putting
the Engine together did you.....

match the 2 designs for the rod, right? What is the purpose of the funky designs on them?

Well, the big shoulder centers/aligns the rod cap to the rod to keep the machining aligned. The flat cut edge on the head of the bolt keeps it from turning in the rod when you torque it and I believe the taper on the head of the bolt is for added clearance while rotating.

I think he was talking about the budweiser symbol on the top of tha head....and I'm purty sure there manufacturer identfication marks.
