Hello, I have a transmission I was told came factory with a '68 Hemi car.
Numbers are a little hard to make out, here's what I've got.....

Casting: # A4 C99129 H
STAMPED: PP 833 3022
OG 160241 032
TAILSHAFT: C-99538

If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking at my books and only see the type of tranny and the build sequence. I see nothing there that is telling me what you're wanting to know. Did the guy tell you what type of car it may have came from?
The "PP" means it was built at the New Process Gear division rather than the Kokomo plant. We know what the 833 means and the last four digits in that line is the daily unit number for that plant.
The part # for a B body 833 in 68 is # 2892047 in the 440 and hemi cars. Code # is 046 and this would be found on the build sheet or fender tag.
The input shaft will have 18 teeth if it is a tranny from a Hemi car. Regulars have 23 teeth.

Good answer, but looks like the poster doesn't post much here, and may have dried up and blown away by now!LOL
