Little background. I own a '67 Dart Slant Six Car that I am putting a 6.1L Hemi into. I am going for a clean "industrial" look, complete with dog dish hubcaps.

I've decided on a white, I've even seen the white I want at the Bixby Knolls Dragster Expo and Car Show in Long Beach California. The car was a mid sixties Chrysler. The guy who owned the car told me that it was repainted the factory color, but he could not tell me the name of the color, nor could he tell me the color code. He did not offer to open the hood and show me the color code on the VIN either. :banghead:

The "White" wasn't a brilliant or super bright white, it was more of an off white, with perhaps a bit of tan or yellow mixed in.

I've looked up various paints used by Chrysler in the mid to late sixties through the early seventies and have found numerous "whites."

They are:
Chrysler Alaskan White #8218 Dodge Snow #8218
Oyster White #8293 Dodge Polar #8293
Persian White #8358 Dodge White #8358
Persian White #8362 Dodge White #8362
Polar White #8653 Dodge White #8653
Spinnaker White #2033 Dodge White #2033
Corporate White #8367 Dodge Brite White #2300

I *think* it's Persian White #8362, but not entirely sure. Any help would be appreciated.
