Help me calculate compression ratio before I buy pistons, PLEASE!!

There's always the option of calling Lunati and telling them your choice and ask them what they feel about pump gas in a 9.50 to 1 engine?

Also, since things slow down a little on the weekends, give it a few days and see what some others think. I personally wouldn't lose a wink of sleep running that cam in the combination you've laid out.

Yea, I was going to wait until sunday before I order anything.

Then sell the cam you have. ONE step up on the cam will not change one thing to do with the heads. That's the best and easiest way.....not to mention it will net you more power. Lastly, you need to be concerned with dynamic compression. Static will certainly have an effect on it, but DCR is what you want to look at as far as fuel. I would say drop the static by 1/2 point and you'll be ok, but a cam change will keep more cylinder pressure and more power.

I need to have the pistons ordered by monday night ( 7/15/13 ) so does anyone have more input before I do. I need all the help I can get.

I just looked at the price of the rings for SRP 142068 pistons and damn they are expensive.
