I just bought a 72 Swinger with a slant in it. On the front fender there are two rows of badges, the top row is DART S/SA and the bottom is the Swinger badge.

My question is, what does the S/SA mean?

I dont have a pic. Ill take one tomorrow as its dark and starting to rain. It looks like it was placed factory. But Im not sure how someone got street strip with a slant six...

The badge is white compared to the other two being brushed, chrome, whatever you want to call it

Just a guess but why not lol..... ( S ) = Super , ( / ) = Slant , ( S ) = Six , ( A ) = Automatic ????

Super / Six Automatic

Super-Stock Automatic drag race class mabby? I bet it was some thing a PO put on there. Don't sound factory to me.

I havent taken a picture yet but it is factory, or at least put on with the same clips and same techniques as the other factory badges

We need a pic but that isnt factory as Dodge quit supporting super stock auto racers in the late 60s

deff not factory someone got excited with some brain ideas
