When I purchase my new windshield gasket for my 2 door 360 Duster do I need to purchase a locking strip.
Can the gasket be used without a locking strip

Regardless if it requires the locking strip or not, it would be the same windshield gasket for a Duster with a slant 6, 318 or 360.

All dusters are two doors so that doesn't need explanation...
YES... It locks the window in...

Yes. No....
I think all the front glass gaskets use a lock strip which is a round cord. The bottom edge just zips closed in center up to several inches from the corner and the lock strip goes the rest of the way. If it's that style gasket, it will not work without it. My back gasket also used a lock strip, but not all do. I helped do a 74 Dart (not Sport) and it did not use one in back.

Been a few years, but I got a Precision brand gasket from Dante's. I think the gasket was under $100 and the lock strip was another $10
