Help! Random parts or info needed!

Hey all! Susanne and I have been trying to get the 64 Valiant/Barracuda on the road before the weather gets bad and it's looking great but we have hit some snags. I cant seem to find several important pieces to finish her up and get her out there. We need to find an affordable pair of good headlight rims,ours are pretty trashed,a radiator in good shape with no leaks, Clips for the rear quarter moldings (on top of the back fenders),a power steering cap and the rubber bushings that go inside the ends of the rear bumper. We are on a budget but would be willing to pay a reasonable price for these parts and arrange for shipping pick-up. If you don't have these parts,but know where we could find them,please,drop us a line. Thanks in advance,Dan and Susanne

I can help with the power steering cap, don't know what you mean about the rubber bushings, a picture might help...for clips check www.kramerauto.com, I think that's where I saw them. If not I do know where there is a 65 Barracuda you may be able to get parts from. Post a picture of the clip if you can, it may be the same clip used on 65-66 Dart qtr trim and broaden your available sources. As far as the budget thing, If I didn't have one I'd be done with my car last year...lol..
Also, are the headlight trim/doors exclusive to Barracuda or did they use the same piece on other models. Again a picture would help.

I believe the headlight trim rings are the same as a 63 to 65 Valiant. They're going to be expensive unless you find somebody willing to give you a good deal. Laysons wants $110 each or $200 a pair. Last time I saw a set offered for sale they were sold almost as soon as they appeared.

where are you located? I have a mint radiator out of a low mileage 64 valiant in near perfect condition no dents in housing and no smaashed fins. I can send picsif youre interested. this is resto quality. Im looking for a hundred bucks plus packing and shipping by ups.

Grinley, I think the headlight trim is the same for valiants,barracudas and darts for 64-66 but I'm not 100% on this. As for the bumper,when i took it off,there were bolts on either end,inside and the remainder of some sort of rubber bushing. Thanks for the clip source. I've actually had some luck with my local auto parts shop but it never hurts to have more sources! b.

For your rubber bushing I would think you could make your own. Shouldn't be that hard.
