Please help identify the items labeled A thru I that were found inside a 1965 Barracuda Formula S at time of purchase. The paint stick (about 12 inches long) is shown for size reference:

A some kind of rectangular rubber gasket?
B two pot metal brackets
C one pot metal piece with two holes, seems to be broken off at both ends
D one gold plastic cover
E two gold plastic trims
F three shiny metal/polished pieces
G two gold painted metal trim
H one gold painted rubber gasket?
I one gold metal trim piece, might be one of two

Thank you.

B goes on the platform in the rear on the corners
E are your A pillar trim. Be careful, they are fragile.
F is the side trim from the rear platform
G is the trim above the doors

I should know what "I" is... Let me think on that one.

Edit: Corrected myself on "F"

Corrected myself on "F"

This is the trim around the platform (not my pic)

Another pic of "I" from your own car. LOL!

and it shows where "G" is missing.

I must have some spare/extra parts then. Update: No spare parts, regarding the "I" piece, one was installed on the car, the other was in the box of loose parts.

"C" looks like the remains of a license plate frame. (potmetal)

Must be a license plate frame fragment.

My guess for "H" is going to be a "cover" on top of the dash along the inside-bottom of the windshield black rubber gasket (don't really see the need to cover up the gasket).

"A" and "D" remain a mystery so far.

That makes sense. By the way, your "not my pic" foto in post #16 did not load, just a note that photobucket is holding it hostage.

That was a fun game! C really fooled me. Good catch Dana67Dart!
Does anyone make reproductions of D or H. Those trunk lock covers (D) get so brittle they crumble in your hand.
I have never heard of anyone ever mentioning H. I have one that is in very poor condition. If no one is reproducing it, what to other people use in its place?

Thanks!

I have had a commercial restaurant stainless sink fabricator nearby make me a glove box liner, package shelf, and rear seat divider from food grade stainless steel. I will be asking them in the future to attempt to fabricate some of these parts that disintegrate after 50 years. Might work out, might not.
