Help with axle shims

Ordered 6* axle shims to correct bad pinion angle. Superlift brand. They are flat on one side and the other is convex or slightly crowned. Is this so sprinds can flex or what? Flat side against perch or springs? Thanks for any help.

You don't want the springs to flex that way. That would make them break. I've never seen shims have a convex surface to them. I'm wondering if they are a defective piece that was over looked during quality control?
 
Unfortunately, you have wedges for lifted 4 x 4 trucks with severely bowed springs.

You need the version that is flat on both sides.

Six degrees is pretty extreme for a car. Are you sure you need that much?

yep. trans is 2 down and pinion is 5 up at rest.
