Help with Bell Housing Numbers

Can anyone give me casting numbers of bell housings that will work for my Duster project

I have a 74 318 and a 71 A833 and the original drive shaft that was in my car when it had the 904 in it.

Any help would be appreciated.

First thing you would would wnat to do is measure the diameter of the bearing retainer on the front of your transmission. It could be 4.35" or 4.80" if it is a 1:1 4th gear trans. If it measures out to be 5.125" you have an OD trans (which were not being made yet in 1971?)

Once you ficure out what diameter your bearing retainer is then you will know what diameter the bellhousing should have?
