Hey guys, greetings from South America, Perú.
I was looking for a small block engine, bigger than a 318 in the garage of a local guy near me and I found this green engine:

Obviously looks like a Big block, but different from the usual casting numbers of a 361 (image attached) this casting doesn't match, besides of the 361 stamped.

I would like to know if you can help me to identify this block foundation, or probably came from a Brazilian or Mexican Chrysler plant and that's why the casting doesn't fit properly.

Thanks a lot.

Shoot, it's hard to tell I can't find that casting number anywhere. It looks to be an industrial/truck 361 but can you see if it has the numbers stamped on the pad near the front passenger side if I remember right. On the block near the front of the head. Or if it has a raised pad it could be a 413

It's an industrial engine. Look at the water pump and timing cover. Totally different from a passenger car big block. Probably off some irrigation equipment or generator or some such. It's a 361. Nothin wrong with um. They're still a big block.
