Wondering if anyone can help identify what stall this factory converter might be. I didn't have a tach in the car to know, and would like a rough idea if possible to decide if I want to reinstall it with the new combo. It was behind a 360.

Thanks!

Less than 2000 stall. The weights are welded in the wrong place for a 360 unless they were trying to copy the 75 up triangular weight. The 74 down converters had 2 weights. 1 on each side of the mounting pad. I would get a different converter with the proper weight/ weights on it. Or grind those weights odd and get a B&M 360 flex plate for a 904 or 727 whichever transmission u have. Kim

That is pretty much a factory convertor, I'm not sure about the weights. If you plan on using it, I would have it flushed and checked out first.

Weights look kinda like a 400 configuration... One on either side of the drain plug...

Thanks for the help gentlemen. Was hoping it would be a factory high stall unit, but obviously not. Searching I go now for something thats 2800-3000.
