Hemi oilpan mods

Anyone else cheap enough to modify the original Hemi (truck) oilpan to fit between the stock K-member and steeringlinkage?

I got the idea I could mate the bottom part of a bigblock oilpan with the pan rails of the Hemi pan, and make the sump end up in the correct location to clear the K-member and centerlink.


I'm currently still in the 'welding & grinding stage' but hopefully my skills are good enough to make the welds leak-free.

Ofcourse the oil pickup will be dealt with aswell.

Looks good, You could always skim coat the weld seam with some duraglass :thumbup:

i know in my EBODY, it looked like the truck pan was reallll close to fitting,, if i known that i wouldnt have bought one, id be doin what u aredoin
