Looking for something exotic and rare? Be the only guy on your street with an aluminum small block Chrysler. Originally designed for The 24 hour LeMans race, coming in 4th in 2001. Later slightly modified and used in The World of Outlaws and most other sprint car classes. They only made this block a few years before replacing it with a lighter, thinner, and weaker casting. This block handled over 600 horsepower for 24 hours straight. It can handle over 850 horsepower for a 15-20 mile Outlaw race. Mopar # P5007580. The numbers on the block are casting numbers, and not the actual part number. This block will handle well over 1000 horsepower. Specs are 9.00 deck height 4.100 rough bore. Will accept most any small block chrysler head. Has extra bolt holes for heads like the W9 or W9rp. Requires some trick ****, like special timing gears, timing cover, and it is dry sump only. Call up Nelson Racing Engines and have them build a 430 Twin Turbo 1750 horse Supercar!!!
