Just read this on another forum (slightly edited):

"I replaced the master cylinder after the brakes went out. Seemed to be going pretty good, but did not bench bleed having read so many threads saying bench bleeding is not necessary (emphasis mine, Jim). I got the back wheels to bleed pretty easily, but nothing comes out of the front."

Seriously? I mean....SERIOUSLY?

Here's your sign, buddy!

Ah, the timing of this one. I mounted the power booster yesterday on Josh's 73 Sport "Fred". I clamped the master cylinder in the bench vise and looped a short piece of line from both ports up to the well. Left the bottle of brake fluid on the bench.
Josh got home from school, saw it there and came in the house to ask me what that was all about. Told him he is going to learn the process of bench bleeding the master. He said he had to get ready for work, but would do it today after school. I told him that is exactly right because I'm not doing it for him. Haha
I may have earned my 1st lifter failure sign the other day, but I won't let Josh earn his sign on the brake system.
