Here's your WTF Moment for the day!

Disposing of the oil reminded me of driving around Panama. The "mechanics" pulled the cars over storm drains and drained the oil right into them. I was shocked when I seen it once, but then the next place was the same and on and on.
a lot of the crap restaurants in downtown Los Angeles dump their old cooking oil in the storm drains and underground transformer vents. motor oil would be a massive improvement, nasty
 
My grandfather had a "drywell" for used oil. It was a hole dug with a bunch of rocks in it.
I don't recall him ever covering it with dirt.
