[SOLD] Hi Compession 318 motor

This is a 318 with a .020 overbore. It has 12.5 -1 TRW pistons. Stock rods with beams polished. 318 forged steel truck crank. 680 lift roller cam, I have the lifters (marked) that go with it. Was running when taken out. hi volume oil pump and pick-up. complete bottom end. $500.00. pick-up only. Ran a best of 11.20 in the quarter with a good set of heads. cash upon pick-up

Don't waste your money on a 318 just give it to me and get a 360. Seriously that's a heck of a motor, how many runs on it and what was the set up to run the 11's?

probaly over a 100 runs. It's a forged bottom end. It can take alot of runs. It was in a 3000# car with a 456 gear, 5400 stall J converter, 904 w/low gear set, and reverse manual valve body. w-2 heads and a 950 carb foot braking. I will be posting a nice 360 block for sale as well. so I don't need one. I got enough 340's to keep me happy for awhile.

Thanks for the info, a nice example of what a 318 can do when set up with all the supporting pieces. Good luck on the sale. If I could justify it I would love to have it.

perma torques with 12.5, a testament to what those gaskets can handle with good tune.

nice motor, whats the duration and center line of that roller?

Sorry wild guy. That one was put together awhile ago. I have often wanted to pull that cam to get specs., but I also wanted to keep it all in tact. It was a good combo. balanced well 7200 Rpm shift point.
