Holes in floor pans

Hopefully this is the correct area for this issue.

I pulled the carpets out of my 65 Dart today, and noticed there are two fairly large holes in the rear floor pans. They weren't plugged, which means the only thing covering them up was the carpeting. Are these supposed to be plugged up with something?

Yes they are supposed to be plugged if not used by anything.
You can get body plug kits, and/or single plugs for them but I personally don't know where to get them.
I'm sure one of the early A guys will though.
