Holes..

When you shift over from bench to bucket seats..what do you do with the old mounting holes ? Is there a plug that going in the hole ?

I was thinking about two small metal plates, some caulking and a small bolt..then a rattle can to paint it....what did you guys do ?

Plastic body plugs from Steele Rubber Products. If you cannot find the correct size put some seam sealer around the plug before pushing it into the hole.

Thanks for that great site and advice ! ..I just don't like holes in the bottom of the car.

I used 5/8" plastic body plugs where the original bench bolted through and undercoated the underside. Welding them up is an option but I felt since I am immortal someone someday might want to put a bench back in.
