Can I use a 600cfm rear metering block on a 650cfm?
Both are double pumpers.

My question is why? Some of the early 600 metering blocks had metering tubes instead of a plain metering well. They certainly tune differently.

My friend gave me some carburetors in a box, one happens to be a Holley 4777-1347. It is missing the rear metering block and I was wondering if I could use the 4776 block to make it work.
I can buy one off of Amazon that says it is for a 4776.

Ok, that makes sense. FWIW and AFAIK, all replacement metering blocks from Holley for a while now have been using a plain emulsion well rather than an emulsion well with an emulsion tube in it. They no longer make any metering blocks with the tubes in them any more.

You should be golden.
