All over CNN he has had a house given to him too nice story.The bummer his life will likely get worse now.

About 2 months ago I had a cold and my voice sounded like Barry White. Only lasted 2 days though. Man, I could have been rich.
 
a great story and an cool guy that seems extremely greatful for his second chance. Lets hope he makes good of it.

....am I alone in this one, I think he should have kept the long hair!

It's a GREAT story with a wonderful fairy tale ending, but how many more millions of homeless people are there out there that are just as if not more talented and gifted as he? The media gets hold of one thing and runs with JUST it. What about the others? This may sound socialistic, but there's enough good fortune to help out a lot more than just the one guy. Some are homeless by choice, but not all by a long shot. I'm glad it worked out for the guy. I hope it lasts for him.

Yes the media runs with their sensationalistic stories, and everything they touch gets blown out of proportion. Thats why I dont (for the most part) watch cnn and what not.

Your very right StrokerScamp, there are many more unfortunate one out there. But everyone counts. The people (internet) ran with this before the media got their hands on it.
The action I was thinking of taking for this guy is contacting the guys from the "stuff you should know" podcast at howstuffworks.com. They recently did a podcast on homelessness and I was gonna ask them to practice while they preach and give this guy a job, I dont like the ladies voice who does their intro anyway.

makes me feel good anywho
