Hood adjustment 63 Dart

Hope this is in the right place! I'm out of adjustment and the rear of the hood still sticks up about 1/8 of an inch. Do I need to open up the slot on the hinge or is there an easier way to do it? Thanks for the help! Mike

The way I adjusted my hood on my 64 Dart for this same problem was to break loose the screw that's nearest to the windshield while leaving the one in the front a little tighter and then grab the front of the hood and lift it. The hood will rotate around the one screw that's snug. Just put some masking tape where it is now so when you move it you can see it move 1/8".It worked every time I've put the hood back on. Thanks but I did that and am now out of adjustment. Looks like I may have to open the slot a little more. Darn, was hoping there was another way! Mike
