Will the hood off a 70 duster fit on a 70 dart?

69 and 70 Valiant and 70 Duster are the only hoods that fit.

It will bolt to the hinges, but will not work with the rest of the assemblies.

70-72 Duster hoods are not the same as a 70-72 dart/demon. If you swapped out the entire front clip, make the dart look like a scamp, then yes, the Duster hood would work.

The front edge of the Duster hood is straight and the hood latch support is contoured lower or deeper than the Dart piece. Plus the corners of the Dart hood are angles back like in the photos above.

No. It is significantly longer. The 70-72 Darts had fender extensions that are not present on the Valiants.
