Hood sccops need fixing!

Guys, need some suggestion on how best to repair the hood scoops on my 70 Swinger. The studs are almost all shot and pulled out/broken off. What material can I use to rebuild these? I obviously want something very sturdy so I don't lose a scoop at hwy speeds....just not sure what material would bond well.

Thoughts?

In the stud holes, I'd use epoxy.

So what I was thinking of doing was drilling out the old holes (to allow for some type of epoxy or whatever) and then using new studs (basically cut off bolts). Any recommendation on Epoxy type or brand?

I tried the JB wedl and no go...it didn't bond worth a damn. As soon as I went to tighten up the nuts the studs just spun out.
