For those who've mounted a scoop with an internal flange, what's for preferred way to to mount it? Panel bond, bolts, 3m tape, rivets? Maybe a combination of these??

Eventually I’ll put a SS hemi scoop on my dart and I’m gonna use bolts.. I honestly would rather the whole hood with the scoop installed.. I just don’t have the space to keep an extra hood. Selling it would be tough where I live..

Thanks. That's most likely how I'll do it too. Maybe small button head screws. I'm just not sure I'll be able to get a wrench on the topside with the internal flange. I've noticed some of the internal flange scoops come with studs glassed into the flange. Unfortunately the scoop I plan on getting doesn't have that option.

Do you plan on using a seal of some sort between the scoop and hood?

I dunno, probably not. I will use some carriage head bolts for the front though so it doesn’t rip itself off going down the road. They’re quite the air catcher. At some point I’ll probably get the hood painted a semi gloss black along with the scoop. Until then, I’ll probably try my best rattle can job on just the scoop.
