I am doing up a new hood for my race car. Will be a steel hood with a fiberglass 6 pack hood scoop. I will be painting the hood and scoop the body color. The scoop has the flange. How should I go about attaching the scoop to the hood? Should each item be painted separately than attached, or attach and than painted as 1?
