Any trick to taking them out? I need to replace them with the low tension ones. It's a 69 Dart.

Easy if the fender is off , if not remove the inner splash shield.
use wire cutters to remove the clips, I bought new ones from the parts store.
I popped my off with a screwdriver
It will have tension, be careful.
