Since those Hookers are B/E body headers, I doubt you'll get it to fit an early A body without cutting them apart and reworking them.
You've not seen Hookers for an early A body with a slant 6. All they offer is 67 and up.

Be careful, because you'll find some vendors that list them to fit a 66, which is an early A, but that's incorrect. They only fit 67 and up.
He's a good guy. I've done business with him before. I'd get those if I were you. AussieSpeed sells their version of the Clifford long tubes for the early A but they are over $600 and then you have to pay shipping from Australia. Those long tube Cliffords rarely ever pop up for sale in any condition, much less new.

I've bought and sold stuff with @MidnightSwinger, he's a solid dude. Those Clifford long tube early A's show up about never. If I didn't have a set already for my build I'd be all over those. Sell a kidney if you need to finance them - it will be a LONG time till you see another set..

Options for early a long tube headers are slim, you could always go with the Clifford shorties, but the recently went up in price and last I heard a 2 month wait after they take your money.

the idea and look is about to make me pay up anyway but you think these are beneficial to my slant enough to buy?
That's what I did. My buddy Charles made some 2 into 1 pipes to attach to the exhaust, so they are basically long tube now. The ones you have are nice. I'd jump on um if I had the dough.It’s too bad too, I love Hookers!

Depends on what you’re doing with your slant. But in my opinion if you want headers and you’re wanted to spend around 400 bucks going an extra 175 bucks for good **** is a no brainer.
Even if they don’t do squat for the performance in your slanty they sure will look super cool!
