I found a set of Hooker Super comp headers a guy is selling that came off his 69 Dart. I have a 65 barracuda into which I'll be installing a 360 LA engine and 727 tranny (from a 73 cuda340). The headers are ceramic coated and they are a good deal, but I don't know if they will fit the early A-bodies. Any help would be great.

They wont. Those look like 1-7/8" tubes too. Thats a big header for most small blocks.

Those aren't hooker Super Comps either......I have a set for my Duster and they don't look like that. I have the 1-3/4" tubes with the slip tube on the #1 cylinder. All the tubes on the Hooker Super Comps go down...none wrap around or go over top of another cylinder.

Phil, I think they are the 1-7/8" race headers. They may even be a 2" W2 header. There should be a part number on the flange I think.

That might be.....I haven't seen a P/N or a pic of the w2 Super Comps. I know I have the 1 3/4 tube Super Comps (2904 IIRC) and all the tubes go down.

5204's are the 1 3/4 super comp A body headers. Attached are 5204 hooker super comps

Those don't look like hookers. If you find out what they actually fit and tube size, shoot me a PM. I'm looking for some 1 7/8 tubes for an ede headed engine.

Thanks

5303 is the part number for the big 1-7/8" tubes

Heres the set of 1-3/4 that I had.

Yup, I couldnt get them to clear my Milodon pan no matter how hard I beat on them.

hooker 5208 are for 64= 66 a bodys,,,if you dont mind a smal hole in your inner fender well,, i used them for years,, they fit nice with a auto or a stick shift,,

sorry also with the hooker 5208 in an early A you will need to cut a piece out of the trans cross member and weld it back in for collector clearance,,,easy to do,,
