hoosier 27x4.5 front runner

anyone run these tires with a 5" rim? hoosier says 4'' max rim width. i have a 5" rim. just curious if anyone has run these on a wider rim. i will most likely be running tubes in them too. the car will see the track maybe twice a year and street driven the rest.... thanks!

I have their 28", but on 3.5 - 4" rims and race car only. They are not street legal, will wear out fasterand can get you in trouble if roads are rough or wet. Just sayin. If it was once or twice a year on the street, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

ok thanks! i picked them up cheap. they are like new.... i might just sell them.
