Horn button for Tuff Wheel

This horn button was on the Tuff Wheel in my 71 Duster 340. I don't believe it is correct. What would it be correct for?

The pictured horn pad was the style used on the Tuff steering wheel in 1971:

The style changed to the simpler plastic pad in 1972:

Later model B-bodies and F/J-bodies returned to the earlier style horn pad and offered more colors:

71 had a leather horn pad all others were plastic until they were used on the F-J body cars. That plastic chrome ring comes off easy and can be replated. That is a hard to find pad .
