How about some caliper help, big brake conversion?

Well I screwed up, bought all of my new parts for my big brake conversion on my71 Duster. I ordered everything off of a 79 Cordoba.... Sliders. My donor parts ie brackets, and caliper cores are pintype!!!! So what b body and year do I need to ask for when I go back to the parts store, to get pi. Style calipers?

Pin type calipers are definately 1970-74 Barracuda & Challenger E body cars, and all 1970-72 B body cars.

They pin type also came on the 75-79 Cordoba/Magnums. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why they put slider or pin types on these cars, I have seen (and bought) both. I have a set of pin type on hand now. Perhaps someone else can chime in, but I think the Cordoba pin calipers will work with the duster. Was your Duster a Disk Brake car to start with?
