How do I delete a post?

This has happened to me before. Today I am seeing a lot of posts that contain garbage/gobbledegook that looks like computer program language. I posted the question, and the picture, which looked fine on my phone, was blurry and unreadable in the post. Without the picture, the post was pointless, so I tried to delete it. There is a way to edit a post, but no way to delete it. There used to be a way to delete them.

I've been on for a long time and i don't ever remember there ever being a way to delete a post once it's older than a few weeks

Only thing you can do is just edit it by deleting all of the content and say, "Hi". Once it gets to old you can't do anything with it.

Hit the report button on the lower left side, type that you would like to delete it

There used to be a way to delete them.

Thanks, guys. It doesn't happen often, but I guess I was wrong.
I thought for sure you used to be able to delete and had to provide a reason why.

It would be nice if old for sale ads could be deleted. It's time consuming scrolling through sold ads trying to find stuff that's still for sale.

Then post a want ad. Just make sure to mark "found" lol.

then I would get complaints because people didnt delete their ad.
