I have a slant 6 engine that I got when I purchased an old '62 Dodge Lancer that I am going to restore. I found the casting number on the side of the block, and know it is from 64-75, but I do not know specifically what year it is? I have 2 pictures I will post. one is the block casting, and the other is a stamped number I found on the block by the head. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Looks like a 1970

There are more numbers on a rail right above the distributor

But as far as the year, you have a 1970

Thank you for the info. I really appreciate it!
Looking from the top , just above the alternator bracket, looking from the passenger side of the engine you will find the displacement stamp.

Being a 1970 you could have a 225 or a 198 cubic inch engine.

Being a 1970, yours should say "F225R" or "F198R" depending on your displacement
