Where are those screws on a 1973 dodge dart, to remove the dash pad?

studs underneath the pad with nuts on them except for one on each end were the pad turns down which are sheet metal screws.

The pad can be removed without removing the windshield, The entire dash is another story.

Lay upside down in the most uncomfortable position you can imagine and run your hand along the backside of the dashpad and you will feel the nuts that hold the pad.

I cant remember if they are 3/8 or 7/16 but they are best attacked with a 1/4 drive ratchet and extenstion.

As someone pointed out, there is one sheetmetal type screw on each end where the pad turns down. I believe it is 1/4 inch

Also, if it is an A/C car with the vents under the dash, you will have to remove the vent box. It has two nuts that come in from the bottom and will require a long extension. If you get close to the floor, you will see the holes under the box.

One last thing, it is easier without the radio but can be done with the radio still in the car.
Good luck!!
