Ii have a 318, runs, but is 2 brl carb, needs tear down, I got it running, and booked it home it's a dog, it wouldn't hit 50mph with the pedal on the floor, not surehow far away from each other we live, but I hope $50 is a fair price for a 318 core

What year is the 318?

And where the heck is 642 Richmond Steet?

It's an open offer, haven't been unable to get my address changed on here, living north of a town named hanover in Ontario Canada , can't deliver as all i have legal is my minivan thats roadworthy

You could be right. That begs the question did it have the correct main bearings installed? I wonder of there's a difference in the tang width on some years?

Either way it goes someone's eyes were crossed or closed when the put that shell in

If it was a 1968 or 1969 > 318, those had factory 9.2:1 cr pistons and the lighter Free Floating Rods that are in demand for building a clean bore Go-Get-Her 318.

1975 pistons = 8.0 cr > not so much, that have the pressed on heavier 645 rods.

Ok, thank you I also thank everyone else for the expertise, and I really like that peel away bearing shell picture

And BTW neither of the rvs are for sale the house bodies have been rotted away, by wet rot dry rot and carpenter ants, no yards around here will buy an rv with the house still on it, the 75 is for parting out, once the house is gone, whatever metals left that is no use to anyone is going for scrap

Quick questions as my Google Foo is failing me, the power steering pully is bent on the 75/318, pump works till it throws the belt, it's stamped steel, and has round holes in a single row, what info would I need off the pump or tag attached to pump to see if either of these fit?
