How far can I mill stock heads?

My heads will be coming off soon from my 360 and I plan to mill them down for better compression. The question is, how far can I mill them down before bad things happen? I have stock pistons and will have a Voodoo LUN-60402LK cam.

.060 would be as far as I would go, you should run ADJ rockers.
Mill the intake surface to match.
Cut down the guides so your retainer wont hit, and install viton seals.
Get matching springs, balance them, pay attention to the closed height please.
And go with the next step up cam.
Balance important or you will have high RPM float, or low RPM clatter.
Use a good set of lifters, Lunati's are.
Degree the cam in.
and run lash at exactly zero.

I agree .060 is the safe max. Years ago I milled a set of X heads .125 but I think I was on drugs at that time, not sure.

Ive done it too, but I wouldn't tell anyone else to.

They worked fine tho.
