I am not trying to beat this to death. I know the disadvantages of poly bushings. But a question to those who use them... how is the ride? I have heard that with poly bushing, you feel every bump because they are more firm. I have alot of bumps on my roads, and I want something that will absord everything. I was given the impression when I bought them, that the poly is firm but absords more impact than the rubber bushings. So I am not sure what to beleive. The poly upper bushings will have to stay for now. Also I put the stock rubber strut bushings back in as the poly bushing are too wide. I read that article on the mopar enthusiast website about the bushings and the poly bushings looks like it makes sense when you see the two side by side. To my eyes the smaller rubber bushing almost looks like it would become a pivot point when you encounter a large pothole or bump.

What do you guys think?

the bushings in general are not designed to " absorb suspension impact" they are there to articulate the suspension, & make it travel, so the suspension can do its job and move to absorb suspension impact.

there are pros and cons to both, but after having poly for a bunch of years now i'll never go back to rubber again, they keep the alignment longer ( since rubber cracks and falls apart ) etc...
