slowly start one lug nut at the 12 o'clock position with the skinny part of the washer facing down. don't tighten it all the way. then rotate that lug nut down to the 6 o'clock position and start the other 2 lug nuts that are at the top the same way. don't tighten any of the down completely until you have them all on. don't forget to re-torque the lug nuts after about 100 miles. they like to come loose.

Be prepared it will take a while. The wheel likes to chuck around on the lugs so try to tieghten down as even as you can and keep washers in the right position.

Man, I remember mounting my 1st Cragar SS rim back in the late 70's. Was pumped as I rolled out my new set of Goodyear Polylas tires and it took me less than 1min to snap the center of the rim on the old style tire bust machine. Be honest... who else?

Back in the day I had a friend who could never manage to keep his uni-lugs tight. I would make it a habit to check them on a regular basis.

This has been a question of mine for a while, I have Cragar ss rims, the front rims have recessed area for center hole washers, no problem installing those, the rear rims instead have 2 little points where the recessed area should be. so what i'm gathering here is I need to use the off center washers following 737jetdr installation instructions,

If you order them custom through Cragar you can get any offset
and regular lug holes instead of that uni-lug crap. No extra charge.

LOL!! I remember hearing stories about guy's rims getting broken during mounting tires. Back then I was working in a gas station & doing tires almost every day, but when I bought new tires at pep boys I took the wheels in & had them do it because if they broke it they'd get me a new wheel. Call me chicken, but I couldn't afford to buy new wheels and tires! I had the original SBP Cragar S/S & they weren't making them anymore at the time.
