LOL!! I remember hearing stories about guy's rims getting broken during mounting tires. Back then I was working in a gas station & doing tires almost every day, but when I bought new tires at pep boys I took the wheels in & had them do it because if they broke it they'd get me a new wheel. Call me chicken, but I couldn't afford to buy new wheels and tires! I had the original SBP Cragar S/S & they weren't making them anymore at the time.Man, I remember mounting my 1st Cragar SS rim back in the late 70's. Was pumped as I rolled out my new set of Goodyear Polylas tires and it took me less than 1min to snap the center of the rim on the old style tire bust machine. Be honest... who else?
