how many degrees should the slant six be timed?

I tried searching for it, but I had no luck. Its a 225 slant six in a 73 duster. I just want to know what it should be timed at for best performance out of the stock motor.

i think it was like 12*

From an original 1973 MOTOR auto repair manual, the spec reads: TDC for automatic
2 1/2* for manual
[TDC would be 0]
