How many quarts of tranny fluid ?

Hey Guys,

How many quarts of trans fluid goes in a 904 trans and does it matter what size stall converter it has ?

Here's how the tranny shop near me does it and it worked for me.

Upon installation, put 6 quarts in. Start the engine, put it in neutral and let the fluid circulate, then add as needed to bring it up to the full mark. Check it again after a 5 mile drive.
